Christmas Cheer?

It's begining to feel a lot like Christmas...can't get that vapid song out of my mind. To make matters worse everyone is out shopping or otherwise occupied and forgotten all about me,well sort of. There's always James. Jen did call me today...I dont't know why...she did not say anything except to be tangential which is her nature. SHE is of course very busy buying THINGS as usual, and rather manicly so. To me Christmas has come to mean one thing ,and one thing only. A time to send cards remembering relatives and friends far away and a good meal shared. I rarely buy into it's commercialism anymore. Or,anymore than I have to.

Eric came back from 'frisco day before yesterday and said he would call this evening so I should probably stay off the computer for awhile. Actually I have been. Except to write in my calendar what I've been eating and if I've walked my mile that day.

I don't know how anyone finds my posts as I've got two blogs and they are not tied together at all. This one will be boring. He he.

Usually I get a bunch of cards by now too. Haven't this year. Just a paper from Uncle Jack saying what he has been up to all year. Ah,well. I'll be glad when it's all over. At least I still have James and my cats to occupy my time. And there's always internet Hearts, I could start playing that again. Which reminds me,I need to send a card to Gail.

Oh, I know what's eating Jen now. When I told her I had lost weight she said "You HAVE?" She is SO competitive. I certainly know better than to say how much. She weighs less than I anyway. It shouldn't matter. Anyway...
